Why choose Protein Chefs?
Protein Chefs is an exceptional meal delivery service. What makes us exceptional is that we understand the challenges it takes to be fit and maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle. We do not put you on subscriptions hence you don’t have any obligation. You can feel free to choose your own meals from our menu options. Our meals are designed using selected local ingredients from local suppliers. Our culinary team consists of five star, fine dining chefs and nutritionists with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. We work with clients with various fitness goals and strive to deliver the best quality and tasting meals.

Please make a note of Our Order cut off times:
Order cut off time for Sunday and Tuesday is BEFORE Thursday 12:00 NOON Order cut off time for Wednesday and Thursday is BEFORE Sunday 12:00 NOON If your order your placed post our order cut off times, your meals would arrive to you in the following week on the delivery day selected with your order.
What days and time do we deliver?
We deliver Sunday and Wednesday every week anytime between 5:30pm to 9:30pm (to areas that fall within our local driving zone – Please refer in FAQ Where we deliver to?
We deliver Tuesday and Thursday every week via FedEx (Overnight Shipping) anytime between 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Kindly ensure detailed shipping address, phone number, email address, buzzer code (if any), instructions for delivery (if any) is provided with your order to Protein Chefs. Kindly fill in the comments section with any special instructions that we need to know while placing your order. (Regarding delivery or allergies).

What is the minimum purchase?
Minimum order is $75 CAD plus applicable taxes.
Can I pick up my meals?
Yes you can. Coordinate with us over the phone at 647-299-9863 or email us at email@example.com to fix a time and venue for pick up.
When can I place an order for my meals?
We accept orders for every Sunday and Tuesday delivery until Thursday noon and for every Wednesday and Thursday delivery, orders would be taken up till Sunday noon.
How do I order my meals?
You can order your meals by simply visiting our website and choosing your meals from our menu, add to cart and follow the instructions. Alternatively you can place an order with us on the phone or email us and we will send you an intimation of the received order taken. (Although placing orders online is highly recommended)
Can I customize my meals?
Yes you can. Email us to customize your meals. Additional fees may apply.
Where can I find the macros on the meals?
Macros are listed in the menu options. Please refer to this as a guide.
What if I am on medication?
If you have any specific dietary restriction, please consult your doctor before purchasing our meals.
What type of containers is my meals delivered in?
We deliver your meals using BPA free, microwave safe and reusable containers.
What is the shelf life of the meals?
Cooked food stays fresh in the fridge up to 3 to 4 days. Refrigerator should be set at 4 degrees Celsius or lower.
Do you use sodium in your cooking?
Yes we do, but we keep it to a minimum.
Can I lose weight, gain muscle and maintain my current body weight by including protein Chefs meals?
We can help you achieve your fitness goals by customizing your dietary intake of calories. Contact us for info.
What meal variety would I receive on a 4 weeks or 12 weeks meal plan?
If you are on a 4 weeks or 12 weeks meal plan, you will receive meals for the duration of the meal plan based on your initial selection of meals (e.g. if you selected proteins such as Chicken Breast, Steak, Ground beef, Salmon, Chicken Thighs, the following deliveries of meals will be based on these selection but will vary in flavours according to the current live menu) If you decide to make changes to these selections later on, please email us your changes at firstname.lastname@example.org
What if the meals arrive at my door and I am not home?
We have specific meal delivery times for our deliveries depending on your option for date selected. (Please refer our Shipping Information info in FAQ)
If you would not be home for delivery and reside in a condominium, kindly ensure the concierge at your building would accept the delivery on your behalf. This is very important as certain building rules are very strict for perishables and do not allow the packages to be left outside the unit door for safety reasons. Hence the drivers are left with no choice but to take the package back with them. In such situation for a redelivery attempt same evening or next day an additional delivery fee of $15 will apply
If you reside in a house and are not home for delivery, the package would be left outside your door. If you are afraid of packages been stolen or missing, please ensure you are home to accept your package or prior coordinate with us to share your concerns.
We work with courier companies that do send email notifications of delivery status after the package has been delivered. Please provide us with your email address with your order so we can ensure you receive these notifications to be on track with your deliveries.
Do I need to Purchase a Cooler bag if I live in Toronto and area?
We do not accept Cooler bags return for hygienic reasons. Since the meals are cooled down completely before dispatch, it is NOT mandatory to purchase Cooler bags. Yet if you wish to buy them, we do provide this option. For 2 deliveries/week kindly purchase two cooler bags if you would not be home for up to 3 – 4 hours.
How to store your meals when you receive your delivery?
Meals will be shipped in an insulated disposable shipping box with ice packs. (For Tuesday and Thursday delivery options selected ONLY).
For Wednesday and Sunday delivery options selected, we shall deliver in corrugated boxes (without cooler bags or ice packs). If you would like to purchase one, our website does provide this option at a cost of $5 each (Not returnable bags)
Please refrigerate meals upon receiving them. Please ensure the meals are stored in a refrigerated temperature between 0 degrees C – 4 degrees C
The shelf life of the meals is up to 3 days in a refrigerator (3 days worth of meals) and the remainder can be frozen upon arrival as a precautionary measure towards food safety.
What if there is a mistake with the meals that have been delivered?
