These meals are low in sodium. The flavors change each delivery keeping interest in mind and new exciting flavors are introduced each delivery. Also the vegetables are always changing based on market availability and freshness. Some of the carbohydrates include(but not limited to) lentils, long grain brown, barley, sweet potatoes, cous cous etc. Some examples of proteins (but not limited to) are Siracha Turkey loaf, Baked Tomato Turkey loaf, Greek style Chicken Breast, Mustard honey chicken breast.

If you are someone who enjoys eating fats such as Nuts, seeds, cheese, butters, oils etc. This plan is for you. This is not a dairy free plan. This essentially is a high fat diet with moderate proteins and low carbs. Fats help our body is numerous ways. One major role is – Fats help regulate our hormones and burn unwanted fat from our body which would in turn help with energy.

A little science behind the Keto diet as follows:

keto or ketogenic diet is a very low-carb diet, which can help you burn fat more effectively. The “keto” in a ketogenic diet comes from the fact that it allows the body to produce small fuel molecules called ketones.

Ketones are produced if you eat very few carbs (that are quickly broken down into blood sugar) and high fats.

 PALEO MEALS

A DIET BASED ON THE TYPES OF FOOD PRESUMED TO HAVE BEEN EATEN BY EARLY HUMAN WHICH PRIMARILY CONSIST OF MEAT, FISH, VEGETABLES, FRUITS, NUTS, AND SEEDS.

This diet keeps you completely away from anything processed or anything with grains or dairy products. Our Chefs make these meals very high in lean proteins and healthy fats with moderate amounts of carbohydrates which would consist of (but not limited to) sweet potatoes, butternut squash, plantain, fruits etc.

This plan is great for celiac diseases and diabetic patients (as it is customised meal plan that allows you to get the sugars you need from natural sources and keeps the gluten away).

 WEIGHT LOSS MEALS

Weight Loss is a mind game. Change your mind to change your body. Let’s be honest, one thing we always struggle with is losing weight. Worry no further as Protein Chefs has you covered on this one as well.

We do season flavorful proteins paired with double vegetables which will ensure you are consuming lower carbs. We shall provide you these gourmet low carb meals with macros for each one so you can stay on track with your calorie content for the day. Ultimately, weight loss and the rate of weight loss will be determined by the number of calories needed to be on a caloric deficit which varies by individuals based on their caloric expenditure. These low carb double vegetable meals will contain between 8 – 15 g carbs per meal.

These proteins are served with a side of complex carbohydrates (but are not limited to) such as long grain brown rice, sweet potatoes etc. The Chefs season these meals with fresh herbs, fresh ginger, and garlic etc.

These meals do not contain any added fats or sodium. Please feel free to add your own fats and salts as per your dietary needs.
